Settings | Environment Page

The Settings | Environment page controls system-wide defaults for Literacy Intervention System features of the One95 platform.    These parameters have no effect on Resources portal areas of the system.    The Settings | Environment page can be accessed by users with role permission access to the Settings pages.

1. Settings page sub-navigation menu bar offers access to the Environment, Connect, Roles, Licenses and Activity functions. Click on the sub-navigation text word to go to each specific settings page.

2. Student avatars can be displayed in the Literacy Intervention System as initials or student profile pictures.  Profile pictures must be loaded from the district student information system through the nightly roster connect synchronization process.    Click on either the Use Their Initials or Allow Photos tile to change display of the student avatar.

3. Click on the Yes or No tile to allow or disallow teachers to make audio recordings of student diagnostic assessments.  Audio recordings can help teachers replay student audio to more accurately score student diagnostic assessments.   If audio is disabled here at the system default level, no teachers can make audio recordings.  If audio is enabled here at the system level, teachers can turn on or off audio in each assessment.

4. Enter the number of Weeks in Intervention Cycle.  This is typically 3 or 6 weeks according to the district's preferred Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) standard intervention period.  This field is used to calculate weeks that each student may be in Tier-2 intervention in on the Student Profile page.

5. Enter the Maximum number of Concurrent Groups.  This is the number of Tier-2 intervention groups that can be managed simultaneously for each school in the district.  It is used to constitute new intervention groups in the Power Grouping process.

6. Enter the Maximum number of Students in an Intervention Group.  This is used in the Power Grouping process to suggested placement of students in Tier-2 intervention groups.

7. Click on Save to save changes to these parameters or Cancel to void any changes made to on the page.
